My 9 year old just learned to ride a bike this year and he has the Schwinn falcon 16". While it was a good size for him to learn on without actually having to use training wheels, he has also had problems with the brakes on it. The front brakes started rubbing the tires and clicking and the seat
tilts all the way back to the back tire, making it impossible to ride and the screws and bolts on the seat are so oddly shaped, that there is nothing that can be done to fix it. I went out and bought a new seat, but they don't sell them with the seat pole in them. So now I will have to destroy the other seat that doesn't work to get the pole out. The new seat that I bought for under $10 has a normal screw and bolt on it so that if it gets loose it can be tightened easily. I would not urge anyone to buy this brand bike even though schwinn is suppose to be a good brand, they have stopped putting quality workmanship into their bikes.

Perfect Kid's Bike
This is a great kid's bike. It is sturdy and well built with lots of style. My 7 year old son was very excited when he got this, and he rides it every chance he gets.
