I removed the narrow street tires from my recumbent trike and place a pair of these on the rear. Now I can ride my bent trike 90% of the places I want to go. What surprised me about these high traction tires is the smoothness of the ride on asphalt. Naturally I hear them more, over the 1.5" street threads from the maker, but I do not fine the road noise to be distracting and soon just adapted to ignoring it.
This is an excellent tire, I do recommend this product.
