The trend on this tire sets it apart from most kids replacement tires. It's perfect for hard surfaces and handles grass trails, too. Surprisingly good even in the rain. Highly recommend!

I consider these the best value, and quality road & trail general purpose bike tires. Multiple tires on multiple bikes surviving two boys for 10 years makes me committed to this rubber. My only frustration is that they are NOT made for 26" wheels. They are marketed as a kid's tire so 24" is as large as they go. Good thing our recumbent bike runs on 20".

The picture that shows the tire (as of 12/16/08 and prior) does not represent the product I received. The tire is completely black and does not have yellow side walls as shown in the picture.
