I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter. After reading the instructions for adjusting the strap, it is still to big. The company needs to specify that this helmet is not made for toddlers.

Our school recently held a bike rodeo and required the kids to wear helmets. When our local supplier didn't get all of the helmets we ordered it was Amazon to the rescue! Not only were these helmets excellent quality, the price was great, they were easy to adjust and they shipped them overnight. We purchased 25 of several different styles. We will be purchasing more for our program!

Helmet fits her head well. The straps are hard to get fitting just right, and I think they may slip around a little. Not enough to worry about safety issues, but a little annoying.

The helmet is pretty much as described, but the description lacks a piece of crucial information: youth = age 8+. At the time of my purchase, that information was missing. I didn't find out until I opened the box that I'd bought a helmet for my 5 yr old niece that she can't use for a few more years. It's huge. I know there are measurements, but those dimensions could mean anything. Even using a hat size would be more sensible. Otherwise, I am pleased with the quality and the ease of use. It meets the standards of the Children's Product Safety Commission so I trust its fitness. The design is cute. The skull's eyes are hearts. Great value.

I wanted to respond to the reviewer who thought that "this was just a piece of styrofoam". I have been wearing helmets before it was popular to do so and I can say that bicycle helmet technology for the average consumer has evolved over the last thirty years from hard shelled neck strainers that you hated to wear to the affordable lightweight aerodynamic styrofoam shells of today. That "piece of styrofoam" is what give you the protection you need for the event that you hope never happens. Proper fitting is still necessary even with the most expensive helmets and this helmet needs slightly more fiddeling than others. It does not come with extra fitting pads. I use extra pads from my other helmets. The plastic cover on top which I believe is not just for decoration but also allows the helmet to slide a bit to reduce the jolt of the initial impact is not adhered to the expanded polystyrene foam shell. I brought this as a loaner for $5 in case one of friends shows up for a visit and we decide to go biking with the kids.

This helmet was advertised as an adult helmet, and while inexpensive, should be at least usable. It is a piece of styrofoam, with a thin plastic cover on it that is taped in place and the tape was coming loose when it arrived. I put the tape back in place and attempted to use the helmet. I had bought the largest size of this adult helmet and had measured and my head size was within the range it was supposed to fit. Not even close. Could not get the helmet even on. The straps are a nightmare that looks like spaghetti, and there were no instructions for making them work. It is on the top shelf of the closet in case a grandchild comes to visit and needs a temporary helmet. USELESS!

This item is good for the price I paid ($10), but is a bit big for being a womans helmet. It doesn't really have enough extra padding pieces to make it that much smaller. Comparatively with helmets you can buy in the store these days, it seems much more like the helmets I wore when I rode my bike in the 80's. The ones that slide all over your head. Bell is a good brand, but i was a little disappointed in the overall quality. But for 10 bucks, heck, you cant find anything in a store for that price. But if you add shipping cost, you might as well just get something from the store, have it now, and have top quality.

Great materials and details. BE CAREFUL with sizing as you really need to measure your head and look for the size that will fit you but still have room to loose and room to tide. Don't get the size if is just.
Once on it looks a bit bigger than the other brands (I used Giro before). is good quality, the only minus is the system to adjust in the back, not bad but not as good as Giro. I say this helmet with Giro adjusting system and Giro sizes with be the perfect combination.

Yeah. So I didn't notice the (BLUE rock and roll) in the title. Very tricky. This item took almost a month to get to me. It arrived in a box that was bashed up (FedEx fault?) either way, there was no packing material to protect the product. I wish I didn't buy it. I haven't used the helmet so please don't base the safety of the helmet on this review. I put it on, it seems comfortable, but I bought it for my son to use in a couple years. Because I thought it was black and silver. They really should change that picture...

I ordered these helmets for a bike rodeo at school and Amazon was great because they have such a large number of stock available.
The helmets were a big hit and the kids are still wearing them around town because they are "cool." They are obviously a very good quality item at a fantastic price. They were easy to adjust as well.

This stuff just plain works. I highly recommend it because it is quick, easy, relatively inexpensive, and voraciously effective. I'm tossing out my Park Tool/Citrus Chain Bright kit for this.
I first used it on a chain that saw 200 miles of trails/commuting during three months of rain, snow, and mush. I shot a quick burst on every link, with a rag directly underneath, then rinsed the same way with a spray bottle of distilled water. The wash rag turned pitch black but the rinse rag absorbed hardly any grime. In the name of science I repeated the whole process. The second time around, there was literally nothing left: the second wash and rinse rags came out completely clean. Also, completely cleaned the cassette in about ten seconds, with zero scrubbing. No kidding, it takes longer to brush your teeth than to clean your chain with this stuff.
Due respect to the other reviewer, but the spray is fairly high-pressure and the spray angle is wide enough angle that you have to keep the nozzle and chain less than a centimeter apart. That is good because the force of the spray drives the fluid into nooks and crannies and blasts out liquefied gunk. That's bad in that it seems to require an excessive amount fluid, meaning your rag will get soaked, you should wear gloves, and you should be careful about drips and errant spray). It might be better if this came with a straw to pinpoint the spray. But relative to the overall strengths, this is a very small complaint.

I love this stuff! I use it on the mountain bike and on my classic car parts that need cleaning. I don't mind getting it on my hands like petroleum solvents but it is fairly aggressive and dries up your hands if used alot. But the citrus scent is so nice and the aerosol sprayer gives you pinpoint accuracy so you don't have it spraying all over or use any more than necessary. I have a cabinet full of every kind of solvent but really only use this now.

i made my own fixie, i used the chain but it broke on me a couple of times could be me but breaking twice on a ride really is annoying. the fact it comes with quick release option is nice though

I regret bargain shopping for a bike chain. Within 1 week, the master link broke off. The links just feel cheap and using it w/o a master link causes the connecting links to lock up sometimes. Considering it is KMC, which is normally reputable, I am disappointed and a little scared to ride with it.
Point of story: don't bargain shop for a chain! pay the extra money for an SRAM.
