I ride my bike a lot as we have a river bike trail that is perfect for bike riding. I always wear a helmet. I recently met a girl that also likes bike riding, but she did not have a helmet, which made me very nervous as anybody can have an accident on a bike at any time. She did not like my helmet style as it had a sun visor and wanted a more classic style of helmet. These brakes are great. They didn't solve my problem of squeeling front brakes on my Cannondale, so I still have to repeat all of the recommended mechanical adjustments to quiet them temporarily. The back brakes stopped squeeling on their own. If you don't have a Cannondale that squeaks, you shouldn't have to worry, just buy these brakes, top quality.
